"My Modern Day Hero"

               When someone say the word "Hero",I usually think of a person with supernatural powers when I was still young.When I grew up and became mature enough ,I realized that a hero could  not be only a person with supernatural strength and powers, but it can be a person whom you admire and idolize because of her attitude and also because of the kindness and good deeds he had done to you.
                For me,I consider my mom as my "My Modern Day Hero".I really Idolize my mom because of the love,sacrifices and care that she is giving us.She has become my inspiration eversince I was a child . She has encourage me to strive harder in achieving my goals.She is a perfect mom for us.Whenever I'm down,she always held her hand to me,trying to lift me up.Eventhough my mom is working abroad, I always feel that she is beside me,guiding me everytime.She always see to it that we are all on good condition.She is giving me pieces of advice and reminding me to always pray and thank God for all the blessings we are receiving.I thank my mom because of the love ,sacrifices and care that she has made me feel all through these years because this has made me become a better person now.

PNOY's Second State of the Nation Address

             Every last Monday of the month of July yearly,State of the Nation Address is being held.SONA is a very momentous event in our country,wherein our dear President is going to deliver his speech consisting all the  accomplishments he had done in our country for a year.It is in this event wherein he will report and tackle the issues that our country is facing.
              At exactly four in the afternoon,last July 25,PNoy delivered his speech in his 2nd SONA.All senators,congressmen and other politicians attended the said event.PNoy had used our own language in delivering his speech so that we will be able to understand what he's talking about.One of the accomplishment that was mentioned in his speech was about the development of the processing of our documents.He said that it became faster because of  the installations of technologies and equipments that they are now using.He also talked about the issue of Pork barrel and the Tobacco Industry.The issue about the expenses of PAGCOR was also included in his speech.All were disappointed that he did not talked about the issue of RH bill and Land Reform Program. 
                After the SONA,many politicians commented on PNoy's speech.Some said that PNoy only concentrated on small issues.Others say that his speech was good.One politician also said that his speech was so anechdotal,and he made it direct to the point.It seems like there are so many negative comments that was thrown to PNoy and I think most of these comments are,but amidst of that PNoy should not ignore this comments and he should make it as his basis on his next SONA.
