According to surveys,Philippines had rank as the 12th country in the world which is very prone to climate change.Nowadays,we are experiencing climate change,and studies say that this is cause by excessive pollution that come from the chemicals that fabrics are disposing and also from the smoke from vehicles and the improper disposal of waste.
In our country,it has been said that we have only a total percentage of 3% of virgin forest that are remaining,and this is located in Palawan.We all know that Palawan is a very Eco-friendly place,but then it is soon to be destroyed if we will not stop the mining activities that is being done there.As a solution,the Government of Palawan is requesting us to help them stop mining in Palawan by helping them collect about 10 million signatures from the Pilipino people.
As a respond to climate change,let's start doing ways now,let's start it first by helping stop mining in Palawan and secondly ,participate in different programs and activities like joining in Fun Run activities and planting more trees and by simply doing the 3R's.Let's Act Now,Help Save Mother Earth Before It's Too Late.

"MY TEACHER,MY HERO"
An slogan goes like this,"Teachers are like molders,They mold us with their superpowers."Teachers are very important for us,without them,there will be no professionals like nurses,engineers,doctors and lawyers.
Last October 3,we celebrated the so called "Teachers Day" celebration here in our school,many students gave letters and tokens for their teachers as a sign of their unending love for them.Some people think that heroes are only those who have supernatural powers,same with what we usually see on the television.But for me,I consider one as a hero if she is willing to sacrifice for the benefit of everyone.Teachers are heroes for me,because they always sacrifice a lot for all their students.We are all blessed to have them,so let us thank them a million times,by simply doing good in our studies.

CHEMERGY: Chemistry & Science Club in Synergy
Chemistry is known to be one of the general branch of science.It has become a big help in our everyday living.
Now, we are celebrating the Science month with the theme"CHEMERGY: Chemistry and Science Club in Synergy"which aim for the merging of Science and chemistry.We all know that establishing different clubs like Science club is a very big help for students like us.They serve as a way for us to understand and know the real value and importance of things that has connection with it, like our environment and the things that happens around us.Science club encourage us to help in preserving and caring for mother Earth,and knowing that it will be in synergy with chemistry will be a big help for it because they will surely easily achieve their goal.

Laptops,desktops, ipods, ipad, iphones,digital cameras and other digital gadgets are only some of the things that prove to us that we are already immerse in techno world.These gadgets are very useful to us,because we use them as means of communication and had become a big factor in making our life easier.We all know that English language is our universal language and because of that it is also become the most commonly used language in some these gadgets application.Many of us cannot understand nor speak English,so there are times that many people are having a big trouble in using these gadgets because of their illiteracy in English.This month,we are celebrating the English month with the theme,"Promoting Digital Proficiency,Through English Literacy",which primarily aim to promote and encourage us all to learn how to speak and understand English language to be able for us to easily know how to use different digital gadgets.

"My Modern Day Hero"
When someone say the word "Hero",I usually think of a person with supernatural powers when I was still young.When I grew up and became mature enough ,I realized that a hero could not be only a person with supernatural strength and powers, but it can be a person whom you admire and idolize because of her attitude and also because of the kindness and good deeds he had done to you.
For me,I consider my mom as my "My Modern Day Hero".I really Idolize my mom because of the love,sacrifices and care that she is giving us.She has become my inspiration eversince I was a child . She has encourage me to strive harder in achieving my goals.She is a perfect mom for us.Whenever I'm down,she always held her hand to me,trying to lift me up.Eventhough my mom is working abroad, I always feel that she is beside me,guiding me everytime.She always see to it that we are all on good condition.She is giving me pieces of advice and reminding me to always pray and thank God for all the blessings we are receiving.I thank my mom because of the love ,sacrifices and care that she has made me feel all through these years because this has made me become a better person now.

PNOY's Second State of the Nation Address
Every last Monday of the month of July yearly,State of the Nation Address is being held.SONA is a very momentous event in our country,wherein our dear President is going to deliver his speech consisting all the accomplishments he had done in our country for a year.It is in this event wherein he will report and tackle the issues that our country is facing.
At exactly four in the afternoon,last July 25,PNoy delivered his speech in his 2nd SONA.All senators,congressmen and other politicians attended the said event.PNoy had used our own language in delivering his speech so that we will be able to understand what he's talking about.One of the accomplishment that was mentioned in his speech was about the development of the processing of our documents.He said that it became faster because of the installations of technologies and equipments that they are now using.He also talked about the issue of Pork barrel and the Tobacco Industry.The issue about the expenses of PAGCOR was also included in his speech.All were disappointed that he did not talked about the issue of RH bill and Land Reform Program.
After the SONA,many politicians commented on PNoy's speech.Some said that PNoy only concentrated on small issues.Others say that his speech was good.One politician also said that his speech was so anechdotal,and he made it direct to the point.It seems like there are so many negative comments that was thrown to PNoy and I think most of these comments are,but amidst of that PNoy should not ignore this comments and he should make it as his basis on his next SONA.

Isulong ang "Breastfeeding TAMA, SAPAT, AT EKSKLUSIBO"
Every second,almost three babies are being born in the World.These babies are very precious to all of us because they will be the ones who will put us into progress in the near future.They should be healthy.They should drink milk from their mothers.The process in which mothers feed their babies with milk is commonly known as "Breastfeeding," and the milk from mothers is what we call "Colostrum."Colostrum has the ability to strengthen the babies body organs and immune system.Breastfeeding is usually recommended for babies up to two years and beyond.It is better to breastfeed your babies than letting them drink commercially processed milk from animals.
In helping in campaigning for Breastfeeding,the STEP of the T.L.E department is recently conducting some contests with the theme,"ISULONG ANG BREASTFEEDING,TAMA,SAPAT AT EKSKLUSIBO",which aim to encourage every mother in the world to breastfeed their babies.

A pleasant day and time to you Sir.Hoping that you are in a good condition while reading this letter of mine.By the way,Sir I would like to introduce myself to you,I am Cheska Loisse P. Soller,a fifteen year old student of Ilocos Sur National High School which is located here in the Heritage City of Vigan.Writing to you Sir is really a great pleasure for a simple student like me.
I wrote to you Sir to personally ask you why we cannot see any changes in our country now.Haven't you said during the elections that you will lead us all to the right way?but how come there are still Pilipinos who are experiencing a hard life?One thing more Sir,I really don't agree with the issue about K12 wherein an additional two years will be added to our education.I understand what you want to happen Sir.You just wanted our country to have a more standard and a higher education,but let's also understand the fact and the truth that many of us,especially our parents who cannot even afford to let their children study until fourteen years and now you are adding additional two years?Let's be practical Sir,let's not compare our country to other countries who have more than fourteen years of education ,because our country is not progressive as them.I think I've asked you all I need to ask Sir and I will be happy if you will response my letter and will tryto answer all my questions to you.
