"WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO BE AN ICT STUDENT"
Being an ICT student take me to have more advance knowledge compared to other students who don't take up ICT and I can say thatthis factor has become my edge from others.ICT,had been really become a very big help for students like me,I had become a computer literate.Because of that,it enables me to handle my pressures in school especially when it comes to making my projects.Through ICT,I was able to learn how to properly use the computer,how to encode,research and many more.It has mademe perform my task faster and easier.I also gained more information and widen my knowledge about technologies.You can really gain many benefits when you are an ICT student.How I wish that sooner or later all students of ISNHS can also be given a chance and opportunity to become an ICT student.
"KANNAWIDAN:YLOCOS FESTIVAL"
- Each of us here in Ilocos Sur really look after in the celebration of Vigan City Fiesta,after enjoying Vigan City's fiesta celebration we now again witnessing "KANNAWIDAN:YLOCOS FESTIVAL"which was held from January 29-February 9.In this festival we were able to see the exhibition of the different products/OTOP of the different towns of Ilocos Sur.Furnitures,plants,foods,souvenirs and handicrafts can be seen and bought with very affordable prices.Aside from the products exhibition,the City government also hired some entertainers and performers from Manila.We had also witness the Search for Siglat Ylocandia Talents of Ilocos Sur.It's really more fun in the Philippines especially here in the Heritage City of Vigan.

"New Year,New Me"
It's already a usual thing for me every year to make my list of my New year's resolution.This list seves as my guide for me to change my bad habits and attitudes.
One of my New year's resolution this year is being more responsible enough in all things and aspects.I have to discipline myself to be able for me to attain all my goals.I will do good in my studies so that someday I will reach my ambitions in life.Since my mom is working abroad,I need to do all my responsibilities at home better.I need to become a more understanding sister to my sibblings.At first,it was not that easy to adjust on the situation but little by little I learned to become more use to it.That's why I can say that this "New year,,There is a New Me."

"Keeping in Mind Our Mother Tongue"
According to what I've understand about the title of the topic that was given to us,which is"Keeping in mind our Mother tongue",I think that it specifically mean that we should give a great value and importance to all the advices of our parents.
For me,I consider my parents as the most important persons in my life.I value them so much just like a gem/diamond.I always keep in mind all the advices of my parents.Their advices serves as my inspiration in reaching my ambitions in life.There are some teenagers who just ignore and don't give importance to the advices of their parents because they can't see the real essence or reason why their parents are scolding and advicing them.Our parents wants us to reach our goals and be able to become ready facing our future.They love us more than they love themselves,they consider us as the angels brought to them by God.
They have done so many sacrifices for us,so let's pay them back by doing such simple things that can wipe out all the hardship they have done.

"Essence of Christmas"
Some say that it is only here in the Philippines wherein you can find a unique Christmas celebration.It's unique in the sense that it is here in the Philippines where Christmas is being celebrated as early as the start of "Ber" months which is September.It is here wherein we can really feel the true essence of Christmas which is the unending love,caring,understanding and joy that we feel in our everyday living.The sign that Christmas is really coming nearly towards us is when Simbang gabi starts.
I've really enjoyed this year's Christmas vacation.I spent it with my family.I really had a great time spending my Christmas vacation,especially when me and my batchmates in elementary spent time togetherin our first ever bonding which was held at Baley Park.I will never forget this year's vacation because it is full of unforgettable moments.

"Equal Rights,Equal Oppurtunities"
Everyone of us deserves to be treated equally.Nowadays,one of the common problems that we are facing is about the unequal treatment that everybody receives,especially the poor ones.It is a usual scene here in our country that whenever a Politician is caught,he/she is always given a VIP treatment.Last time,while I was watching the news,I was shock when I saw the headline that goes this way,"Ex-governor Antonio Leviste is allowed to go out of jail everytime he wants",this has become a very big issue in our country.
It's really unfair!,people like me shout out.We are all humans and should be treated like true humans.Rich or poor,we should be treated fairly cause God has created us equally.

Responding to Climate Change
According to surveys,Philippines had rank as the 12th country in the world which is very prone to climate change.Nowadays,we are experiencing climate change,and studies say that this is cause by excessive pollution that come from the chemicals that fabrics are disposing and also from the smoke from vehicles and the improper disposal of waste.
In our country,it has been said that we have only a total percentage of 3% of virgin forest that are remaining,and this is located in Palawan.We all know that Palawan is a very Eco-friendly place,but then it is soon to be destroyed if we will not stop the mining activities that is being done there.As a solution,the Government of Palawan is requesting us to help them stop mining in Palawan by helping them collect about 10 million signatures from the Pilipino people.
As a respond to climate change,let's start doing ways now,let's start it first by helping stop mining in Palawan and secondly ,participate in different programs and activities like joining in Fun Run activities and planting more trees and by simply doing the 3R's.Let's Act Now,Help Save Mother Earth Before It's Too Late.
